Futurewinemaker.com was developed by Christopher Herrera in early 2010. The website originally was developed as a class project for a marketing college course.
Christopher Herrera graduated from Sonoma State University in 2011 with a dual concentration degree in Wine Business and Marketing. While at Sonoma State, he was constantly active working and studying the industry in depth. Christopher focused his studies on understanding emerging social media trends, international business with an emphasis in Asian & South American markets, and supply and demand trends.
